The following changes & fixes are being applied in the Thursday, August 31st at 2pm PDT update.
[Skirmish]
Earn the first Series III Hero, Gus, the Cosmortar Hero in this month’s Skirmish, and use it to dominate in the upcoming monthly Event.
Use your D.A.R.T., Stalker, and Diviner units and their Heroes against the Ryu Kai to play through the Recruit set or the Officer set to earn skirmish XP. Sets can be completed in any order and pay out a bonus XP Cache. The Officer set will test your might but will pay out more XP than the Recruit set. Choose the set that best fits your power level. You can hit the targets multiple times, and wins will count towards future set completions, so you won't be penalized for hitting a target again!
STARTS: September 1st at 10:00am PDT
ENDS: September 4th at 10:00am PDT
[Operation: Dogs of War II]
Kronos dials the Doomsday clock to midnight by launching an assault on the Sector. He is destroying huge tracts of land, and is demanding Malachi’s location. Will Kara protect her ally, or get revenge on an old enemy?
In Operation: Dogs of War II, The first Series III Tungsten Unit, the Cosmortar, with its mortars and space age hull, wipe the battlefield out of the cosmos, and you can earn it in the Event Store and Main Mission Track. Cosmortars combine the thrill of horizontal space travel with the high tech world of medieval siege technology. Equipped with mortars, these space shuttles have one destination in mind, your enemy. There is nothing fake about one of these landing in your base! You’ll also be able to unlock its Gold Tech, Sputnik Flak Guns, which gives the Cosmortar the ability to target Air, and do even more damage to Ground!
Also in this Event is your first chance to earn the Omega Cain Parts, and your chance to earn two pieces of Cain Bronze Tech, Reinforced Torso and Hardened Cockpit.
